Our Club and members are active in local and international community service projects year round. We believe in Service Above Self.

Community Service

Nor’Wester is committed to making Port Angeles, the Olympic Peninsula, Washington State, the US and by extension the World a better community through specific actions. Over time the clubs has changed as new opportunities have arisen. We do not do this alone but gain the assistance of other in our various “communities.” Here are listed some of our achievements and our ongoing work:

  • The Port Angeles skate park
  • Arts In Action Street Fair
  • The annual Jammin’ In The Park Festival
  • Scholarships for local high school students
  • Port Angeles Boys & Girls Club
  • Port Angeles Murals
  • Dignity Toilets for Togo Africa

Rotary is dedicated to causes that build international relationships, improve lives, and create a better world to support our peace efforts and end polio forever.

Supporting Youth & Education

We support and fund youth locally through our community service projects as well as scholarships through our Club Foundation.

Community Building Projects

Our members are not afraid to work hard and get dirty to improve our town, community and the world around.

International Projects

We work closely with international Rotary Clubs to help with projects like Dignity Toilets in Zogbedgi, Togo, Africa
